Since its acquisition of Orascom Housing in 2020, NCD has been holding a land bank of 825 acres, 530 acres of which have already been developed. NCD projects span across Cairo’s 6 of October City and the Upper Egypt area, with further project expansions underway.

New City Developments (NCD) is a leading developer of fully integrated communities through mixed-use real estate projects across Egypt. Initiating the concept of fully integrated towns in 2020, New City Developments currently holds a land bank of 825 acres on 6th of October, Cairo and in the city of Qena, Upper Egypt, and soon to be all across Egypt.

Executive Chairwoman
With more than 35 years of accomplishments across multiple industries most prominently in real estate investment, trade, finance, and tourism, Dr. Manal has held office as Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade, Deputy Minister of Finance, and Member of Shura Council. Dr. Manal has pioneered the development of major magnates to achieve a track record in sales, operational efficiency and in reducing operations and supply chain cost such as Orascom Development Egypt, E-Finance, and Lazard Freres. She has earned her MA from AUC and her Ph.D. in Public Administration from Cairo University.
Legal Advisor to Chairwoman
A highly accomplished corporate and commercial legal professional with over 20 years of experience, Abdel Razek has gained extensive experience in real estate development, retail, consumer finance, leisure, and entertainment industries. His experience across multiple industries has equipped him with extensive expertise in corporate and commercial law, corporate governance and restructuring, risk management, joint ventures, and M&As. Abdel Razek has earned his bachelor’s degree in Law from Cairo University in 2003.
Chief of Staff
With more than 18 years of experience, Ahmed has managed the HR functions in leading firms in several sectors: investment, hospitality, FMCG and many more. His role also allowed him to partner with both HR leaders and various business units GMs in addressing cultural and business environment issues which in turn equips these business units with a competitive advantage through the human capital. Ahmed received his bachelor’s degree in international business administration from University of New Brunswick with honors in Human Resources. He also successfully completed his MBA degree City University. Ahmed always believes that he is a businessman who is just handling the people piece of the business
Head of Internal Audit, Risk & Governance
Mohamed Abozeid is highly skilled, results- driven professional with strategic vision, and strong financial background in cross- industries/sectors. With his great exposure to different types of sectors where he was able to evaluate and improve the internal audit system for a variety of multinational industries in Egypt and the Gulf Region. He worked with Travco Group, Universal Group, TMG, Imtenan and Reliance Group. He has strong and extensive practical experience in Risk Management and Risk Based Audit with strong track record of positive results in identifying, evaluating and managing business risk. Mohamed has attained his bachelor degree in Commerce from the Cairo University in 2008.
Finance Director
With an entrepreneurship spirit and a detailed oriented a solid track record of successfully maintaining budget and cash flow Management, Dr. Bassam has more than 15 years of experience in the real estate industry alone. He started in this industry with Mangroovy Holding which is part of El Sewedy, then he moved to El Mostakbal for Urban Development as Finance and Admin Director. He also held the role of Group CFO for Amer Holding. He led the finance function at Al Ahly Real Estate and Mountain View which is part of DMG. Dr. Bassam has attained his DBA of Financial Management, West Brook University USA with Ain-Shams University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science, Accounting from Helwan University in1992.
Group CTO
A Certified Consultant Engineer and Project Manager holding a Ph.D. in Project Management, with over 29 years of solid extensive experience in designing, implementing, supervising and managing Electro Mechanical projects. With outstanding communication and problem solving skills, he has the ability to perform inter-cultural negotiations as well as interacting effectively with government officials, high-level management, subcontractors, and multinational organizations. With a solid career in the military, Dr. Ashraf has led Projects leading firms. Dr. Ashraf has attained his Ph.D. in Project Management, from American University of London, England, In August 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Military Technical College, Cairo, Egypt. July 1992
Head of Legal Affairs
Experienced Legal Advisor with a demonstrated history of working in the judiciary industry and a well-built experience of legal practice in the areas of Corporate, Finance, Restructuring and Insurance in different jurisdictions. As working for many MNCs, Mr. Sherif has advised on finance, refinance, leasing, factoring, real estate and insurance. Investment Banking and Co-Financing as well as the Reinforce of Good Governance, Compliance and Legal best practices across organizations of different industries and jurisdictions. Enrolled as a High Court Barrister in Egypt and he is described as multi-cultural adaptable, very calm, stable, dependable, analytical and sharp-minded, pragmatic, assertive, enterprising, aggressive and goal-oriented. Mr. Sherif graduated from Bachelor of law from faculty of law Ain Shams University.
